Guitar Restoration Part 2

Day 2 was fun… We went online and shopped for new components. I took my son to a guitar store to show him the possibilities, and he immediately wanted to change the look of the guitar.

He liked red for the body and white for the scratch plate, but decided that hardware had to be gold.

We got pricing and bought a few pieces from the guitar store. Because we were working on a ‘pocket-money’ budget, decided to order the more expensive hardware online from overseas.

eBay and a couple hours later, we had secured everything we needed for about $134
