Recording Studio

The world has changed dramatically in the past decade. Recording used to be an expensive exercise where to get a decent quality Demo, EP or Album you would need to hire a an engineer and studio for days.

Now with the evolution of personal tech devices, you can create at home for minimum cost. This is going to be my next learning challenge as I try to adjust my old learned knowledge around recording equipment hardware. We used to have literal van-loads of Stereo and XLR cables, control buttons and equalizer level boards. Now I will adapt to new device based software which in my case will be iPad, USB Cable and Stereo adapter.

I will start with Apple Garage Band and an iPad to see how I go recording my first demo track for Soundcloud. Should be fun!
