Guitar Restoration Part 20

Restrung, tuned and sounding good. The new locking tuning pegs are doing their job and holding the tune well. Feels heavy for such a small guitar, but it's well balanced and feels smooth to play.

My son feels like a bit of a rock star now, so it's nice to see that eagerness to learn developing. He has our old CD collection and found the Screaming Jets album All For One. I taught him how to play the intro riff, so now he is fixated on getting it right.

Might check out eBay and Amazon to find some various CD’s and let him discover some new tunes. The tactile process of collecting and playing CD’s is something he has loved since he was 3 years old.

If you are wondering why I don’t just get him an iPod, it’s because of the screen - we want him to develop his own imagination instead of watching someone else use theirs.
