Piecing it back together. This is the fun part after all the hard work is done, to watch the new look components reattached to their former glory.

We had already inserted the new tuning pegs and locking system, but the first major part is to reconnect the neck to the body. This is somewhat harder than it looks because th neck is designed specifically for this body, so any overspray from the lacquer can impede a snug neck refitting. There was a small amount of sanding in the slot required, but not too much.
